[takde] Download Mundbind fonts from Hanoded

Mundbind
Designed by David Kerkhoff, Mundbind is a hand display and hand drawn font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.

I just visited my good friend Jakob Fischer from Pizzadude.dk in Denmark. As always we talked fonts, drank coffee and walked endlessly through Copenhagen, the city where he lives.
We thought it would be a fun idea to each create a font from a handmade sign we saw in the city. We only had like 7 glyphs to work with, so the rest was up to our imagination.
We also thought it would be nice to give the fonts a similar name.

Mundbind means mask in Danish. When you Google translate it, it will give you the wrong translation (it will say ‘mouth piece’), so trust me on this one!
My font is called Mundbind NL - where the NL stands for Netherlands. Jakob will hopefully call his finished font Mundbind DK - where the DK stands for Denmark.

Mundbind NL comes with a monster load of diacritics (including Vietnamese) and two alternate glyphs for the lower case letters that will cycle as you type.

If you need less geometry and more legibility, Gratimo Grotesk is engineered for text and interface design. Grato Grotesk is the modernist of the Geometric Suite. A resolute typeface with flat apexes and no-nonsense angled terminals, it combines a clean, contemporary aesthetic with idiosyncrasy and warmth. Grato is shaped by pure forms, low stroke modulation and square dots that contrast with almost perfect circles. Grato Grotesk takes that core and pursues the industrial logic of early German geometric typefaces. The result is a typeface of quirks and clarity, a substantial family for...

Plethora fonts from Sudtipos - (rxdap)

Designed by Alejandro Paul, Plethora is a serif font family. This typeface has twenty styles and was published by Sudtipos . Download Now Server 1 Download Now Server 3 Download Now Server 2 A few years ago I’ve discovered the work of one of the most prolific typeface designers of the Bruce type Foundry in NYC during late nineteenth century. Browsing Julius Herriet’s work I found a very unique kind of ligatures in his patented “Old Style Ornamented” type design. Some letters were designed with a little top tail that allowed them to connect to each other. After that, I found that he also designed a single italic weight of the same font 7 years later. Since the beginning of the Opentype days I’ve been deeply obsessed with exploring different ways to build ligatures, so that lead me up to this point where I felt the need to create “ Plethora ”, this new font inspired by Herriet’s work. Extrapolating weights, adding variable technology and playing with additional i...
